..... unless you're willing to drive to Troutman you are just plain out of luck! 

Surely it would be a wonderful idea for the powers that be to have a designated swimming area at Ramsey Creek and Jetton Park?

These are two beautiful areas.

Doubtless people swimming and keeping fit would make a lot of the more selfish boaters - troughing their steaks and chugging booze - a shade unhappy???

Not to mention kids on Jet Skis frightening the life out of all and sundry...

My wife and I like the Lake Norman area a lot and were most disappointed that we have to drive all the way to Troutman for a dip.

Also we like kayaking (environmentally friendly eh?) and just cannot find a kayak friendly area on the Lake where we can go about our healthy pursuit without some moron creating wakes in no wake zones.....

Is there anyone out there that can fix this???
